In 2025 Chung Tyson Workshop will be launching Urban Forest Originals to make limited edition products from urban timber.

Let us imagine the Urban Forest as a material resource as part of a living ecosystem.

Working exclusively with Franklin Tree Services in Manchester all our wood is locally repurposed from routine aboriculture and storm fall, giving provenance to our products and helping to reduce our impact on the environment.

We think of an Urban Forest Original as a carbon a store playing a small part in the pathway to ecological and climate balance.
