Live project brief for a Music Venue & Rehearsal Space

This sampler records the first part of a collaborative design project in zine format. A follow-up is planned for 2024 that will document the speculative designs alongside project outcomes. 

Students from Lancaster School of Architecture are working with the Lancaster Music Co-operative to generate ideas for the creative re-use of their Lodge Street premises.

This collaboration provides a great opportunity for students to engage in a live project with a cultural community and contribute to the current debate on creative re-use and sustainable futures for an existing heritage building stock in Lancaster.
