Reflective Room | 2010 M13

A temporary structure located in the Courtyard at The Manchester Museum as part of the summer events programme.

Intended as both a physical and contemplative experience the courtyard is revealed as an abstraction of the surroundings. The structure forms a public room where people can sit, relax and reflect.

Fabricated in the Faculty of Art and Design workshops at Manchester Metropolitan University and assembled by 5th Year Architecture students from the Prototype Unit.
