Design + self build modern ‘sister’ studio to an early 20th century coach house.
The elongated site is formed by a series of raised garden beds part of which an internal courtyard with wild flower meadow is shared by the primary spaces.
Blue engineering brick contrasts with the original NORI brick of the Coach House. Robust but with a lightly grained surface, BRICK was set out with no cut bricks and all joints recessed to allow a clear expression of this quality.
