What We Do | Chung Tyson Architects design and make small buildings, sets and props for television.

How We Work | The studio takes a hands-on approach to making and finds opportunities within limited budgets and resources. We take a close interest in the way that things are made and believe that good design can bring quality and value to the everyday experience.

Who We Are | Prior to setting up the practice in Manchester 2001, both Partners worked as Project Architects in London on a range of award winning projects from bespoke residential interiors to Arts and Educational buildings. We have over 20 years of Architectural Design teaching experience at leading Schools of Architecture in the UK.

Architecture | We regard working with clients as a collaborative process and offer practical advice on the design-to-construction stages providing  full or partial RIBA services. We have extensive experience of high quality self-build projects and can provide project management services for small scale or temporary building projects.

Design + Make | We design and fabricate commissions for television, exhibition and interiors  drawing upon the shared expertise of a broad network of manufacturers, fabricators and specialist trades in the UK.

Blog | Our aim is to make visible a way of working and current design projects. Please fill in our contact form to get in touch with us about your project.
